Hello! 

As I see the calendar indicating the end of August, I feel the summer season coming to an end.  Actually, the past few mornings have felt so much like fall, I was having a hard time remembering that it is still August!  Mother Earth is certainly letting us know that things are changing and shifting.  

What can I learn about myself from being in this experience, at this time, at this level of consciousness?  Certainly, I have moments when I wonder what I am doing to contribute to the weather change.  What am I doing to contribute to the consciousness change?  I look at each moment as an opportunity to be as truthful as I can with myself and begin by checking my intention.  I am committed to my spiritual growth and I am sensing that each moment is an opportunity for me to look at what my lessons are in that particular moment.  I am also using my courage to be as open as I can to exploring every moment deeply with the intention to heal any frightened parts of my personality as best I can.  I am open to reaching my spiritual potential and sharing the gifts I was meant to give in this lifetime.  

I have experienced moments of true grace this month.  One of the most profound experiences during the month was related to my first nations friend, Roland.   We have been working together on a very special project at the Cave and Basin in Banff.  To support ourselves in doing the best co-creative work possible, we have spent at least an hour each week, sitting in the Cave, with only natural light, meditating and sharing our thoughts.  The Cave is now closed to the public, and we have been blessed to have many silent hours, feeling the deep and powerful energy within this sacred site.  My first experience in the cave showed me that, even though, in my mind, I thought it would be dark within the Cave, it is amazing and bright, full of light, and as the light moves across the entrance above, it illuminates the beauty of the rocks, water, crevices, and shelves.  Many shapes and forms are outlined:  images of animals and faces are everywhere.  The light shows us all these amazing visions! 

During Banff Indian Days, Roland asked me if I would be open to being in a ceremony with him:  he wanted to adopt me as his sister.  This was very moving to me.  We held the ceremony above the Cave, at the entry point used for hundreds of years by the Stoney people each year to celebrate, honour and communicate with their Creator and the helping Spirits.  Two of Roland’s living sisters were there, and my daughter and her friend were also in attendance.  The ritual was full of sacred words, songs and prayers.  At one point, I noticed a beautiful bald eagle flying over the Bow Valley.  A gentle rain had been falling just prior to our walk up to the site, and each time a small breeze came up, the trees would release soft water on all of us.  When the leader of the circle was blessing me, I had my eyes closed.  She spoke in the native language of the Stoney People.  What was amazing was that I heard her words being translated for me, and I was able to understand everything that was happening.  When I opened my eyes, there were about 20 more people standing around us.  These were Stoney youth from the camp at Banff Indian Days who had ventured up to the Cave and Basin, just like it had happened for hundreds of years.  An elder was sharing with them what was happening in the ceremony.  It was an amazing reenactment!  

In my naming ceremony, I was given my “Indian” name.  The Trumpeter Swan is associated with creative expression, and it is a bird that flies as high as the eagle, with grace and beauty.  I was so moved by being given this name, even though parts of me felt unworthy.  I know that this is a profound and growth-filled time in my own journey! 

By noticing what I was feeling in these moments of grace and expansion, I am guided toward my own radiance.  As we experience our own light of potential and true healing, we can affect healing throughout the world, contributing to the consciousness shift and healing Mother Earth.  

On September 8^th, I will be leaving to attend a soul retrieval workshop with Sandra Ingerman.  These workshops are so amazing and powerful and support me in doing the best possible work with you.  Please note that from Sept 8 through 10^th, I will be available in a beautiful healing space for treatments should you be in the Las Vegas area.  When we return from Santa Fe, on Sept 19^th, I will be available again in for energy work with you.  We will be hosting a Solstice Celebration in my friend’s home in Henderson on the 21^st.  Please join us if you are in the area!  I will have access to email should you wish to contact me at this special time.  I return home on the 22^nd of September.  Please be sure to schedule your appointments early so that we can work together as soon as possible.

I have created a Healing Bonus Package for my clients who are committed to their healing.  As it is my intention to offer the best opportunities to facilitate your healing, I am offering a prepaid package of five healing sessions for $325.00, a savings of $50.00!  Please call me to arrange your series of sessions at this special savings.  

Meditation classes continue at On Centre Chiropractic.  All classes are at 11:00 am, but remember that I am away, so there will be no classes on the 11^th or 18th.  Individually, these classes are still only $30.00, however, I have created a meditation bonus package specially priced at $110.00 for four sessions.  This is a $10.00 savings!    Each session lasts about an hour, with time to share and ask questions.   Pre-registration for the class is required, as space is limited.  

On Friday, September 3rd, please try a Journeying Meditation Class.  This meditation incorporates an interactive preamble to instruct and set intentions.  The journey is accompanied by drumming.  Time after the meditation is available for you to journal your experience.  Those wishing to share will have the opportunity to do that.  Cost for this exciting time together is $30.00.  

I am also continuing with the Healer's Evenings, and this month’s get-together is Thursday, September 30th, at my home at 7:00 pm.  The intention of this evening is for being together in healing sessions, and learning from each other.  This is a great opportunity to practice your Reiki, with whatever level you hold!   Each evening has developed organically, and has proven to be very exciting for attendees.    I will leave a basket out for any contributions you may feel appropriate for my hosting this evening.  Please call me to confirm your attendance. 

On September 5th, I will lead a Level One Reiki workshop.  The cost for this is only $75.00, which includes a workbook, lecture, attunement, interactive session and light refreshments.  These are always very powerful workshops!  Everyone always seems to end the day feeling rejuvenated, empowered and energized!  The workshop begins at 1 pm and is held at my home.  As always, if you have studied with me, and wish to participate and practice in the workshop, your cost is only $25.00.  

I have scheduled a Reiki Level Two class on September 24th, beginning at 7:00 pm.  This wonderful time of learning together deepens the usage of Reiki, by learning to transmit the power through time and distance.  The workshop is offered at a cost of only $250.00, which includes your workbook, lecture, attunement, interactive session and refreshments.  Again, if you have studied with me, to participate and practice at this time is only $25.00.  

Please remember that there is still a meditation class every Tuesday, beginning at 7:00 pm at my house.   You must confirm your attendance, as space is limited in the meditation room.  

I am always available to discuss and schedule your Reiki Mastery class.  I generally do these one-on-one and the cost for this final level is only $500.00.

I am teaching the Karuna® Reiki mastery! Workshops for this powerful additional Reiki System will be offered on request.  For this system, you must already be a Usui Reiki Master.   Please call me if you are interested in pursuing opportunities for training.

Each week, I am excited to be doing more and more shamanic healing sessions.  These sessions may include soul retrieval, soul remembering, psychopomp work, recovering power loss and energy extractions.  Please call to ask me any questions about these amazing ancient healing practices and book your personalized session.  The shamanic work is so powerful and often life altering for the client! 

I have been working with a few clients who have found themselves in a holding pattern with some of their core issues.  I have been guiding them through a past life healing session, which has been very powerful for their growth and healing.  If this work resonates with you, I am always open to doing this and other shamanic work.  The cost for Past Life or Shamanic Healing treatment is $125.00. 

Should scheduled classes not fit your timetable, please consider calling me to find a time that will be convenient for you.  This is also an option if you feel overwhelmed or intimidated by having other participants present while you learn.  I am always happy to do any teaching one-on-one.  This includes, Reiki training, meditation, discussion regarding spiritual matters, or tailored healing sessions.  I will always be available to work with you to create times for co-creation of specialized workshops, teaching sessions, or team-building exercises as well.  I am open to co-creating whatever might prove meaningful or growth-filled for you.  You may also remember that I am trained in herbology, aromatherapy and even ear candling, if you are looking for a practitioner in one of these areas.

It feels like there are many changes happening:  the weather seems very extreme and severe; not like it used to be!  There are many natural disasters.  I feel like I am being offered many opportunities to choose how I want to go through my life:  do I choose to be in fear, angry or depressed about the situations?  Or can I remember that I am a being of light and love?  I am choosing, as much as I can, to be the best I can - having a daily practice of meditation, yoga, and transfiguration, so that I can remind myself that I am the only instrument of change that I can affect.  How will you participate in healing the Earth?  By trying to affect things outside of yourself?  Blaming others for where we have led ourselves?  I gently remind you that the only change that is possible is within you.  As you raise your vibrational energy, by being the radiant light that you are, you affect change.  You inspire others to be their own light.  I encourage you to shift your perspective to one of looking after yourself, and by healing the frightened parts of your personality, you assist in healing everything around you - Mother Earth, and all who live on Her.

If you watch the news, you probably are more than aware that Mother Earth is facing some real challenging times!  She appears to be bleeding in the Gulf, and lately, there have been bizarre weather patterns, volcanic eruptions and other such events.  We seem to be reaching some sort of critical mass, in terms of the way that the Planet is responding to our treatment.  It is my belief that we can influence Mother Earth in healing.  I believe that we need to be the absolute BEST and BRIGHTEST light that we can be.  The light that we radiate, as we heal and raise our own vibration, with the intention to share healing, we begin to affect healing all around us.  What do you need to heal?  What can you do to be in your radiant light?  

The shift in consciousness is already in process.  My sense on 2012 is that it will not be the catastrophe that Hollywood predicts, but a global shift in consciousness, affecting our perspectives, connectedness and our lives with respect to joy and meaning!  What are your ideas about 2012?  Do you fear it's coming?  Remember, what we fear has it's own intention:  it's own agenda.  Let's be wary of how we are creating.  I choose love, and by creating from that perspective, it is my intention to create healing, human connectedness, peacefulness and being authentically empowered!
